Making the blanket

  1. Cast on 27 stitches in the colour shown on row 1.
  2. Work through the chart from bottom to top, up to row 66.
  3. At each colour change, cross the yarns on the reverse to avoid gaps.
  4. Keep an even tension and check the width of the blanket regularly.
  5. After row 66, cast off loosely and weave in the ends.
